Dang, this is super rad. Sound effects are devastatingly accurate/awesome, the track fits perfectly, and the expressions are so well-suited.

How long did this take? I want to see a whole game with a battle system like this :P

I made it over a few long days and nights really close to the submission deadline. For some reason it was quite easy, deadlines have a way of making me freak out and speed up my process. :3

Well...

...that was just about the best thing I've ever seen.

Whoa man...

This is just too ace. The music, setting, and subject matter gives it a really calm, relaxing aura... as if I were taking a leisurely stroll through an art gallery...

The way in which this is interactive gave me a personally paced experience that I would have found much less attractive and much more artificial if I would have had to click to scroll (I mean, one could argue that pushing "left" and "right" are equally as artificial, but Strawberry's anthropomorphicly ambling pace kind of shoots this down). I'm not one to click through pictures on the internet, so I really respect your choices in presentation.

Good shit!

Haha!

Everything looks great AKA this is the worst Clock Day submission ever.

Thanks again for not only asking me to participate, but for waiting for me to finish up as well!

Great job!

Funny! A great, simple, unique idea for a first Flash. The vocal/subtitle scheme was clever, and the animation is smooth, accurate, and well synced with the sound.

To recommend things to a first timer, always try new things visually even if they'll take forever (because animation, in general, takes forever!), keep implementing little things that set your work apart from others' (like the speech in this one), and try to make things as clear as possible (in your story, animation, pacing, etc. - you did well with this one).

So keep on animating, and thanks for the plug ;D

Hahahahahahaha!

That was hilarious!

Aside from that, I'd like to applaud you for the way you revealed the premise so directly to the audience, but kept it interesting at the same time. When I first saw Threepio repeating word for word from the title exactly what he was going to do, I felt I was going to be led through a boring narrative, but the "gooooooooood" totally took my mind off of it and threw me into the mood.

Yes, the mood. Not that one.
Couldnt've been better, Phobotech 'n hogabeast!

Galneda responds:

Oh p'shaw...OF COURSE IT could have been better! Artoo could've joined in!

I'm happy to have exceeded your expectations, and am really, truly stoked you enjoyed it. We thank you! :D

Ah man

Always so good to see things from you. Both your art and animation styles are outright outrageously unique, eyecatching, and cool, and I find it compelling that you can keep me interested with something that may be considered filler in other animations. The robot twirling around for a second time (along with everything he does after shooting Pico aside from the ending loop, actually) would seem arbitrary as hell in so many other pieces, but fits your style, for example.

And I lost it at the loading screen.

Excellent work, Cabroplepas!

Hey man,

My princess is in another castle, too. Awesome animation and great message/story/whatever one can get from this; I'm sure others' interpretations of this Flash are much different than my own.

Wonderful work. Sometimes making yourself vulnerable can make others feel vulnerable, too, and thanks for that.

All of them always are.
